Created

Genesis ch1 v1: "In the beginning Elohiym created the Heavens and the Earth."

In a previous mini teaching we explored the Hebrew word Bere'shiyth which means - in beginning or as your bible may read Genesis. Now we take it to the next word in hebrew which is not actually God or Elohiym as most English bibles read, but the word created which in Hebrew is Bara ברא.

The word Bara means created or fattened or filled.

It is used 3 times in Genesis chapter 1;

in verse 1 "In beginning Elohiym created (Bara)the heavens and the earth."

Verse 21 "And Elohiym created (Bara)  great dragons and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind..."

Verse 27 "So Elohiym created (Bara) man in his own image, in the image of Elohiym created he him; male and female created he them."

So Bara means created, but lets look at it symbolically.

It has 3 letters, beyt, resh, aleph.

Beyt ב is symbolised by a tent, or house or dwelling.

Resh ר is symbolised by a face or human head.

Aleph א is symbolised by an ox head symbol meaning strength or power, it is also Gods symbol, starting the Word Elohiym (God).

Eve there it is interesting, the symbol for house, the symbol of human head and the symbol of Elohiym. Created a house for man in God. or God in man.

But it gets better, the word son in hebrew is beyt resh, symbolising the head of the tent. Follow on the word son with the symbol for Elohiym and you have the son of Elohiym.

HALLELUYAH!

The Hebrew word Bara ברא means created but symbolically when written as the pictograph symbols means 'Son of Elohiym.'

How much more weight does this give to the opening of the Gospel of John, ch1 v1-5 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohiym and Elohiym was the Word. The same was in the beginning with Elohiym. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehends it not."

For those of you who have already read our 'In The Beginning' Exploring Hebrew post you will recognise this word too as it is the first part of the word Bere'shiyth בראשית.

So not only does the word created mean son of Elohiym but it is repeating the phrase again in the second word too. And the third word is Elohiym (God) which is fitting pointing a head to the son of Elohiym is Elohiym.

John ch10 v30"I and my Father are Yachad (one)."

Truely every page of the Bible speaks of Yahusha. From subtle nods in Yahusha (Joshua) son of Nun in the Old estament, the Hebrew word nun being a letter nun נ symbolically meaning 'life'. To words like Bere'shiyth, Bara and so many more, which contain his name, title or promise.

For people who say Ha Mashiach is not in the Old testament, he is. And not just in prophecy and psalms, but in every single page. His name, his spirit, his fortelling is a part of every single peice of scripture. He truely is the Yachiyd (beloved son) the annointed of Yahuah, Ha'Mashiach.

Praise him forever! Amein.
